Alley Cats

Camera Shy

Share

We were nowhere near this grey tabby and still, when he saw us he decided that sticking around was too much of a risk.  So he bolted.

Fine. Leave! See if we care!

  1. I always find it so interesting that cats have collars on there. Are there rules concerning cats being let outdoors? We actually have leash laws here pertaining to cats so you don’t see a lot of cats outside. When I do see a cat here they never have a collar on. My own cats never get to go outdoors. As they don’t know it exists, it doesn’t seem to bother them.

    • Most cats will have a collar so that they can be returned home in case they get lost. Otherwise they might get adopted by a new family thinking they’re just a stray and not belonging to anyone. Not sure what the rules are, but strays without collars might also be scooped up by the city and brought to a shelter, so it’s always best to have ID.

  2. At least he has somewhere to run! If I leave a photo session, my human fetches me and brings me right back!
