Dat Tail

I swear his tail grew an inch since the last time I looked. It’s also always in motion. It seriously never stops moving.

Cats tails are full of mystery too, especially if you don’t know what you’re looking at. Cats are all about body language, so the position of your pets tail may be the key into your your cat is feeling on that particular day. For example, if his tail is huge and puffed out like a big furry bat, your cat is probably agitated. In the case below, the tail hanging down basically means, “I have nowhere else to put it, ok? Now stop taking pictures of my ass.”

Cats also use their tails for balance to shift their center of gravity. especially when doing the tightrope fence walk.

  1. Humans are SO face oriented! If they really want to know us kitties, they need to watch our tails!

Our Sophie’s tail is always in motion too. She wags it like a dog.
